Lala Kent Revealed She And Katie Maloney Are No Longer Friends
Lala Kent recently revealed that she and Katie Maloney had an offscreen falling out and are no longer as close as they used to be. It seems as though the argument viewers saw between the two on the show was not the first time. They are on different levels and already were distancing themselves when that happened. Lala Kent has been known to voice her opinion and call it as she sees it. This may have made their friendship have a bump in the road.
Lala Kent And Katie Maloney’s Argument Onscreen
During the astrology night, Ally Lewber hosted for her friends, Katie Maloney and Lala Kent got into an argument. Ally then tried to mediate the situation using her astrologer knowledge. It may have eased the situation at the moment, but the two are not as close as they used to be. Katie did not like how Lala was defending Scheana’s feelings or how she compared Scandoval with her split from Randall Emmett.
“I was mad at Katie in that moment, I was like, ‘How dare you take me to a place where I look at you like you’re my enemy.’ … And I asked her, I said, ‘So why are you bringing this out of me right now? Like, you know me.’”
However, the two did not necessarily resolve their issues.
Their Falling Out Offscreen
The two had a falling out offscreen. Katie went on a podcast and revealed things were not the same between the two.
“Right before the reunion of season 10, Katie had gone on a podcast saying, ‘The vibes were off with us,’ something had happened and … we just never came back to where we were. It may be talked about [at] some point in time, I don’t know, I’m not going to talk about it today, but I feel like after that happened, we looked at each other differently, and we distanced ourselves.”
It was never said what the falling out was about and now fans are curious and think it could be talked about on the show.
It seems as though the two are not going to be as close as they were again. Katie and Lala have always butted heads; however, they have always worked it out.
