Andy Cohen Says Hilton Drama Is Mauricio’s Story To Tell
Andy Cohen believes that the current Hilton drama is Mauricio Umansky’s story to tell. Mauricio’s niece, Paris Hilton, called him out for talking about why he left her father’s firm. More so, she did not feel he was being kind. Now, Cohen is having his say. Read on for more details.
Andy Cohen Says Hilton Drama Is Mauricio’s Story To Tell
In Season 1 of RHOBH, Mauricio Umansky was approached to start his own real estate firm. However, he knew that it could cause a rift between his wife, Kyle Richards, and her sister, Kathy Hilton. At the time, he worked for Kathy’s husband, Rick Hilton as an agent at Hilton and Hyland. He was bringing in nearly twenty percent of the sales so he decided to ask for more. Mauricio approached Rick and asked for both equity and to be a partner. That was rejected so he went and did what he had to do. Though it was risky, Kyle was by his side, despite the possible ramifications.
In the new season of Buying Beverly Hills, which begins March 22nd on Netflix, Mauricio tells this story to a group of his friends. He goes into detail but maintains that he still has the utmost respect for Rick Hilton. Now, Andy Cohen, who has been with RHOBH since its inception, is speaking out about his thoughts on this Mauricio/Hilton drama. According to Us Weekly, he is cool with whatever Mauricio wants to say or do, per his SiriusXM show.
“I’m seeing online a lot of people saying that I or Bravo should be pissed about Mauricio revealing stuff on Netflix on his show, but I would say a lot of what he’s revealing is his story to tell. So, people think, ‘Oh, Bravo should be furious. Why is he saying this on his show?’ Well, it’s his show on Netflix.”
Andy Cohen also said that whatever Kyle chooses to share on RHOBH is “her side of the story.” So, he understands that they are two different shows. Plus, he may be happy that his network is not getting the Hilton wrath. In the preview for the third part of the reunion, Kathy Hilton jokes that people say she can get them exiled from parties and such. Cohen does acknowledge that the true details of Mauricio leaving Hilton and Hyland may have been avoided to not further “complicate” her relationship with Kathy.
Mauricio’s New Life
Since leaving Hilton and Hyland, Mauricio Umansky has become highly successful with The Agency. He has been seen opening them all over the world and his daughters have even joined him as agents. However, for many years, it appeared that the strain with the Hiltons was due to Kyle Richards’ television show. She had a short-lived series, American Woman, loosely based on her mother and her life. That rubbed both of her sisters the wrong way. Looks like there is so much more to the story.

yeah, I thought the reunion was pathic. like Kyle & Kathy were the only important ones. Then miss queen Kathy saying Sutton was n menopause. You don’t shake uncontrollable from menopause. maybe it was fear of Hilton. I hope they can get people squared up. Hilton & eureka need 2 go.
