‘Vanderpump Villa’ Did Lisa Vanderpump Go Into Cardiac Arrest?
Lisa Vanderpump’s new show on Hulu, Vanderpump Villa premiers on April 1. It brings Below Deck vibes with the crew that stresses the matriarch to the point of joking about a heart attack. The Bravo star is well used to shenanigans from Pump Rules. However, this time, she’s got a lot on her plate with guests’ expectations. Beautifully appointed, it all goes down at her luxury estate, Chateau Rosabelle in the South of France.

Ever since the news dropped that Hulu would bring the show out in 2024, people felt that it seemed like a land-based version of the sailing series. Actually, the trailer reveals a similar scenario. Young people in a confined space serve wealthy guests and personal life gets in the way. Boundaries are overstepped, guests’ expectations are not met, and emergency meetings are called.
12 people star in Lisa Vanderpump’s new show. They all come from the USA and have the experience to deliver a good job. However, things go crazy, especially with Marciano Brunette, a lead server overstepping boundaries with guests. It’s precisely the sort of thing not needed for Lisa to achieve her dream of delivering a “fantasy” world for her clients. No wonder, she nearly stressed herself to death during the filming.
Vanderpump Villa Nearly Gave Lisa A ‘Cardiac Arrest’
The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star chatted with ET’s Denny Directo. He got to see the setting of the luxury villa. And, it seems that like Vanderpump Rules, the cast tended to let the boss down, especially with relationships. Marciano caused problems because he also had something going on with Hannah, one of the servers. And, the last thing needed was the potential of yet another Tom Sandoval.
The outlet discovered that Lisa Vanderpump almost had some catastrophes. She explained in the interview:
Was I stressed at all? That’s the understatement of the year! I nearly went into cardiac arrest…The second week I thought, ‘What have I done?”… [The crew] actually had to be able to do the jobs that are required. So, they’re all very well qualified. Whether they choose to show me that or not is another question.
Lisa Vanderpump also talked about how she felt a flutter of fear at one stage, suggesting that the thought crossed her mind that she’d “taken off a lot more than [she could] chew.” Fortunately, not all was lost, and the Vanderpump Rules boss described it as “a very beautiful show.”
