When Vanderpump Rules started in 2013, Katie Maloney was in her twenties and she was slim and secure. Along with her best friends, Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute, they ruled SUR. Then, as time went on, her weight fluctuated and became a topic, especially in Season 5. James Kennedy, who was reckless and did not care what he said, along with Lala Kent called her out. He asked if she was pregnant while Kent noted that everyone had not been working on their summer bodies. By Season 7, James had reached a new low and mocked Katie for her short shorts.

Even Lisa Vanderpump’s party planner, Kevin Lee approached Katie at an event and asked what had happened to her. He said she gained so much weight and former hostess, Billie Lee commented on her weight. Finally, by Season 10, through her divorce, Katie started to shed the pounds. Now, she is showing off her epic body transformation and looks better than she ever has. She has a glow from the inside out. According to The Sun, she dropped twenty pounds just by altering what she ate.

The sandwich shop owner spoke to Hollywood Life and shared the details of her new diet: “Breakfast it’s always eggs.” She opts for egg whites, avocados, feta, and hot sauce. As for lunch, it’s all about the salads: “I’m really into the — Oh my gosh, where the Kardashians get their salads. I’ve fallen in love with that place.” That is Health Nut where she loads up on veggies and nuts as they keep her satisfied. She will snack on fruits, mainly berries, and have a chicken and veggie dinner.

“I think dieting is not sustainable and it’s very short term and just sets you up for failure. So, now I just feel like I just know how to like eat for my body and metabolism.”

A Whole New Katie

Katie Maloney struggled in Season 10 with her ex-husband, Tom Schwartz kissing former Pump Rules co-star, Rachel Leviss. She felt betrayed and angered but got her groove back and this season, she has her cropped long pixie cut. Additionally, Maloney will find herself in a love triangle with Schwartz and Tori Keeth. She is living her life on her own terms, has a new podcast, Disrespectfully with VPR alum Dayna Kathan, and just got back from an EMO cruise. All of this combined has helped to make a new and even more beautiful Katie.
