‘1000-Lb Best Friends’ Is Ashely Returning Next Season?
1000-Lb Best Friends fans are delighted to learn that the show will indeed come back to TLC sometime in the near future. But who is returning?
Tina Arnold shocked fans when she announced that she was done with the show and wouldn’t return. That left many viewers wondering about the other cast members as well as the fate of the series itself. Dr. Charles Procter later confirmed that they were already filming 1000-Lb Best Friends Season 3.
All signs indicate that both Vannessa Cross and Meghan Crumpler plan to return. Tina is officially out, but what about Ashely Sutton?
Dr. Procter also recently gave an update about Ashely’s involvement. See what he had to say.
Will Ashely Sutton Come Back For 1000-Lb Best Friends Season 3?
Right now, plenty of 1000-Lb Best Friends fans eagerly await for news and updates about Season 3. On social media, Vannessa Cross continues to show off her amazing progress. However, many viewers speculated she and the other women drifted apart. That will likely be a storyline when the show returns.
Last season, Ashely Sutton had a larger role. She qualified to have her second bariatric surgery and fans were proud of her. But will she come back?
It appears that Ashely Sutton will return to 1000-Lb Best Friends when TLC puts out the new season.
“Look who came by today! Look for @ashthebff in the next season of #1000lbbestfriends” Dr. Procter captioned his Instagram post. He attached a photo of the two posing and grinning at the camera.

Why Did Tina Arnold Quit The Show?
For the first few seasons, Tina Arnold was the shy friend who was intent on losing weight, but felt apprehensive about surgery. In fact, that’s part of the reason she opted to quit the show.
“I choose to no longer be affiliated with the show if it decided to move forward,” Tina wrote in the comments of an Instagram post. “It’s just not for me and my family. I don’t want surgery, and there’s no room for weight loss without surgery on television.”
Many of her followers thought she made an excellent point and said they were sad to see her leave. Don’t expect to see Tina Arnold on reality TV anytime soon, but fans who want to keep up with her can follow her on social media.
