Travis said that his emotions got away from him in the moment. The Kansas City Chiefs had just turned over the ball when running back Isiah Pacheco fumbled the ball. Kelce said he was pumped up and was telling Reid to trust him and get him the ball and he would help. However, as his emotions were so high at the moment, it came off very badly for the television cameras. Kelce did admit that he feels most bad about the fact Reid didn’t see it coming.

“I wasn’t playing very well. We had to get some s–t going, and sometimes those emotions get away from me, man,” Kelce said. He said he has battled his emotions for his entire career. He also said that if Andy Reid had turned around and “cold-cocked him” in that moment, he would have “ate it.”

According to Travis, “Unfortunately, sometimes my passion comes out where it looks like it’s negativity, but I’m grateful that he knows it’s all because I want to win this thing with him more than anything,”

Travis then said that he and Andy had talked about it after the game. He said that both men just “chuckled” about the moment. He went on to say that his relationship with Reid is all that matters. “I don’t give a s–t what everybody else says,” Travis admitted.

Andy Reid had also said it wasn’t a big deal

Andy Reid also said that it wasn’t that big of a deal. He joked about the moment after the game. He admitted that emotions get high in close games like this. He said that it wasn’t anywhere near as big of a deal as people watching at home might have thought.

Jason Kelce then explained his stance on it. He said that these things happen all the time in football games. However, Jason wouldn’t defend Travis’s chest bumping his coach. “It looks like you caught Big Red off guard a little bit,” Jason, said. “You crossed a line.” Travis agreed with that assessment and called it “unacceptable.”
