Olivia Plath Reveals She’s A ‘Petty B*tch’ Rubs Kim’s Nose In Season 6 Return
Lately, Welcome To Plathville‘s Olivia Plath is spreading her wings and wants the world to know about it. Although she and Ethan Plath called it quits, she has decided to stick with the show. Recently, she provided an interview giving details about what has happened since the close of Season 5. Additionally, she talks about being a “petty b*tch” with how she enjoys making Kim Plath’s skin crawl.
Olivia Plath Talks About Life Now
During an interview with Ryan Bailey in So Bad It’s Good, Olivia Plath gives an update on life after divorce. Currently, she is living in Los Angeles, CA. Admittedly, she lives in a seemingly “safe bubble” of the city where she feels removed from many of the media portrayals of the chaotic demonized city. But she says she feels more like a grandma because she spends a lot of time reading at the park and the beach instead of joining the wild side of the city. Additionally, she feels more at peace than she has for years following the divorce from Ethan Plath.
Olivia Plath Reflects On Welcome To Plathville
But during So Bad It’s Good, Olivia Plath says she looks back at Welcome To Plathville and doesn’t like how she handled everything that was shown. “Having a camera on you all the time, especially when you’re living in a fight-or-flight situation, there are a lot of things that I am not proud of. That I said or did or how I reacted. And I look back with some grace knowing I didn’t have tools to handle it differently.” But she knows she needs to develop those tools and do things differently in the future.
Notably, she and Kim Plath had a continual rift throughout the show. In many ways, they both addressed issues poorly or avoided them altogether. Additionally, she notes the Plaths threw a divorce party when Ethan and Olivia were finished. When speaking about the reality show she says, “I think that if you’re going to idolize a lifestyle that promotes the dysfunction that we see, then you have to show the flip side.”
Olivia Plath Isn’t Going Anywhere
Although the network hasn’t officially said there will be another season, Olivia Plath makes it sound like it’s happening. When asked if she would do Season 6 she said without hesitation that she would be part of it. But she still enjoys getting under Kim Plath‘s skin. During the discussion with Ryan Bailey, she says she is sticking around to be part of Welcome To Plathville. Admittedly she says, “I’m a petty bitch. I know that [Kim] thought that I wouldn’t be a part of Plathville anymore when Ethan and I got divorced and I know that she’s disappointed… I’m just reveling in that a tiny bit.”
Airing Both Sides
Undoubtedly, Olivia Plath’s stance is that both sides need to air. She says, “You have to show what happens when someone walks away from it. You have to show what happens when someone questions it.” Adamantly, she wants a voice, saying, “Otherwise it’s just, it’s not the full story.” According to Olivia, she feels the Plaths family’s portrayal of the fundamental Christianity was a “little purified, whitewashed, happy version of it.” Additionally, she says the way things play out in Welcome To Plathville is “not realistic.” Significantly, she reveals both Olivia and Ethan didn’t want to be in the show originally. At the time of their wedding, she says the show hinged on them saying “yes” to being included. If she could go back, she says she would have never been part of it.

I would love to see Olivia apart of Plathville still but how life for her and everyone is since she’s not part of the family anymore.
