Jill made headlines after participating in the Duggar family’s annual holiday gathering last year. James posted a picture of his older sister and brother-in-law chatting with Jed. But some Counting On fans are glad that Jill is finally working on her relationship with the supersized family after years of estrangement.

In an Instagram post, Jill shared a quote from her book, “Counting The Cost,” that talks about how people can’t put a timeline on healing. The former Counting On star also mentioned that she sought help from a therapist regarding her relationship with her parents.

Additionally, Derick Dillard’s wife made a long caption that talks about the time and effort it can take for things to heal. However, it seems that she’s more determined than ever to reconcile with Jim Bob and Michelle. “BUT…putting in the work is worth the investment! Working toward healthy relationships is worth the boundaries, the timeline, and the energy it takes! We will get it wrong sometimes, but God is faithful and He will give us strength and hope when we continue to seek Him in our decisions,” Jill Duggar Dillard added.

Despite wanting to reconcile with her parents, Jill continues to hustle online by promoting her book. The Counting On alum also made headlines after participating in a podcast with Derick where they emphasized the contents of “Counting The Cost.”
Jill Duggar Dillard revealed in another interview that Jim Bob texted in the family’s group chat threatening to cut inheritance to those who speak out against him or their mother, following the announcement of her memoir, which makes their relationship more complicated. Aside from her book, she also likes to share heartwarming pictures of her own family, though she no longer shows the faces of her sons to respect their privacy.
