The My 600-lb Life alum was also suffering from severe health issues. She even had problems with the bariatric surgeon’s weight loss regime and almost neglected her 1200-calorie diet. Pauline’s Weight Loss Journey In Season 3

Pauline worked hard in her weight loss program despite almost pulling out. The former My 600-lb Life star dropped 44 pounds after a couple of months, qualifying her for bariatric surgery. However, she got addicted to pain medications, which put a big bump in her journey. She was also criticized for “abusing” her son. According to some, she manipulated her child for her own benefit. One of her YouTube clips is also filled with comments accusing her of being selfish.

“No one can tell me there is no such thing as food addiction. Just listen to her. She knows exactly what’s shes doing and ruining her sons life and she still does it.”
“She’s abusive to her son. She says that she hates putting so much on him but then involves him in her mental health issues. When she put her hand on his knee and asked “you in?” That enraged me. She is so manipulative.”

Pauline Potter eventually got herself back on track and shed 300 pounds. She also got herself approved for skin removal surgery. Her last reported weight was 529 lbs. But many of her social media photos today show that she lost much more after her episode.
