‘MAFS’ Fans Slam Experts For Pairing Toxic Couples In Season 17
Married At First Sight viewers have been expressing their frustration throughout the airing of Season 17. Many fans have found the latest installation of the reality TV show to be disappointing and the couples have MAFS fans slamming the experts for their choices. Season 17 Married At First Sight Couples Are Toxic
Fans have spoken out about the Lifetime show seeming more scripted than ever in Season 17. On top of that, many viewers are disappointed with the couples that are appearing on the show. MAFS viewers feel like many of the couples in the latest season are toxic and are disappointed in the love experts for pairing them together.
A number of the cast members have been receiving their fair share of backlash online. However, the most recent criticisms seem to be targeted at Dr. Pepper Schwartz, Dr. Pia Holec, and Pastor Calvin Roberson.
Unlike previous seasons, fans have been met with one disappointing relationship after another during the show’s 17th installation. Although the couples are the toxic ones, viewers are placing blame on the experts.
The MAFS Instagram page posted a teaser showing a sneak peek of episode 15. The short clip showed a scene with Emily and Clare.

In the clip, Emily asks Clare how she is doing. Clare has joined several other couples in Season 17 who have already called off their marriage due to a lack of chemistry. Her match, Cameron, did not take the breakup very well.
Emily’s marriage isn’t doing much better. MAFS fans have watched her relationship with Brennan hold on by a thread for multiple episodes now.
MAFS Fans Chime In On This Season’s Matches
The teaser was posted with the caption, “How is everyone doing?! #MAFSDenver.” Rather than being met with excitement about the next episode, many people chimed in with their thoughts on the season so far. Most of the comments were negative.
“Uhhhhhh we are not doing well but you can thank the ‘experts’ for that,” one person commented.

Another person chimed in, placing the blame on the experts. “I know these aren’t the best couples, but y’all know who REALLY needs to admit they f**ked up this season? The experts. That’s who,” they wrote.
One person pointed out that it is difficult to watch so many people struggle in their relationship this season. “If these terrible experts matched the right people based on what they’ve asked for and marriage would NOT be hard. Tired of watching these poor couples struggle!” the MAFS fan wrote.
Another viewer added, “I need the experts to take the L on this season forreal.”
