Gerry Turner & Theresa Nist Enjoying New Marriage
Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist had to keep their love a secret between the time The Golden Bachelor was reportedly filmed in August and the season finale in November.
The couple got married in January, and ABC aired the Golden Wedding live to millions of viewers. Now that the whirlwind of reality TV is over, Gerry and Theresa are ready to begin their life together.
They often shared their adventures on their respective Instagrams. One thing the couple loves to do is go out to eat. They’re on a quest to visit all the diners in New Jersey.
In one of her Instagram posts, Theresa explained they were “making up for the time we couldn’t be together in public by eating out as much as possible!’
Theresa Nist Shares Sneak Peek At Upcoming Honeymoon In Italy
After the proposal, ABC gifted the couple a trip to Italy. However, with wedding planning, they had to postpone the trip indefinitely. Gerry and Theresa said they would use the trip for their honeymoon at a later date.
According to Theresa, the honeymoon date is coming up soon. She shared on Instagram that they are having “so much fun” planning the overseas honeymoon. She revealed that the trip is happening in May.
It seems that they are pretty far into planning their itinerary. “Flying into Rome, spending a few days in Tuscany and then heading down to Sorrento and the Amalfi coast,” she wrote on an Instagram post of beautiful photos of the European country.

Theresa Nist also revealed that it won’t be her first time in Italy. The New Jersey native shared that she went there when she was 18 and then again when her daughter was studying abroad.
She’s still excited for the trip, adding, “I can’t wait to experience it with Gerry!”
