She had some obstacles during her time with Dr. Now. One of them was when her boyfriend, James, admitted that he cheated on her just before she got her weight loss surgery. But she didn’t let the heartbreak get in her way. The two managed to work on their problems. James later proposed to Tamy, and they eventually tied the knot.
