Of course, 7 Little Johnstons fans wondered for a long time when Liz Johnston and Brice Bolden would expand their family. For quite some time, they dodged engagement and baby rumors. However, what fans had been asking about finally came to fruition, as Liz and Brice welcomed a new family member into the fold.
Liz and Brice welcomed their first child together on November 3, 2023, a daughter they named Leighton Drew Bolden. As a bonus, this also marked the first official grandchild for Amber and Trent Johnston. So, it was a big win for the whole family when the newest generation of the Johnston crew arrived.
TLC Couple Faced Split Rumors
Prior to the 7 Little Johnstons baby news, Liz and Brice faced some major split speculation among fans. Of course, these two got together when they were even younger than they are now. So, naturally, many viewers believed that perhaps they were simply growing apart.
Eventually, the 7 Little Johnstons pair clarified that they were, in fact, still together. If that were not enough, this baby news soon followed. Certainly, this news that Liz and Brice would be a family of three with their daughter squashed any split rumors that were still lingering. Perhaps most importantly, they’ve been a happy trio ever since.
7 Little Johnstons Celeb Leaves Daughter Behind
Not surprisingly, Liz Johnston’s social media updates over the last few months have been all about Leighton Drew Bolden. This is not to say that her many followers are complaining, because this is exactly what fans love to see.
Because Leighton was born at the beginning of November, the newest member of the 7 Little Johnstons family was also able to experience a lot of firsts, like her first Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Recently, though, Liz Johnston had some somber news to share with her 7 Little Johnstons followers. After two months of recovering at home and spending time with her daughter, Liz had to return to work so she could keep bringing home the bacon.

Unfortunately, that means leaving Leighton behind and being away from her daughter for an extended period for the first time. Still, even though Liz would love nothing more than to spend every minute with her daughter, she told her followers that this time with her has been “life changing”, adding that being a mom is the “greatest blessing ever”.
