‘BIP’ Michael Allio Gives Advice On Grieving
This weekend, BIP star Michael Allio gave advice to those who lost someone, but social media followers scorched him because he broke the heart of Danielle Maltby. However, the winner of Bachelor in Paradise, Season 8 who debuted on Bachelor Nation in Katie Thurston’s The Bachelorette also finds a lot of support. The dad of James who lost his wife, Laura is loved by plenty of people who understand the pain of loss.
BIP Danielle Maltby And Michael Allio Had A Strong Connection
Sadly, Danielle Maltby connected because the two ABC stars both experienced grief. In her case, it was her fiance who passed away. Meanwhile, he lost Laura, his wife to cancer. There probably wasn’t a dry eye in the house when she spoke about how she used lyrics to help her cope with her grief, citing, “I lit a fire with the love you left behind.”
Despite their bond, in August rumors of a split started because of social media silence. Well, he claimed they wanted to keep things private because of the issue of public relationships. So, things quieted down, and fans hoped she didn’t regret moving to Cleveland, Ohio to be closer to Michael Allio and his son James. However, by September, it became obvious that they split as they deleted all their posts about each other.
Bachelor In Paradise Star Advises On Loss
The Bachelorette alum likes writing long messages to his followers on social media. On the weekend, he wrote about grief on his Instagram account.
This message is for those that have lost someone.
Don’t let people put a time limit on you. Feel all the feels. When you bury your grief to mute your sadness…you mute your ability to feel joy as well.
The greatest tragedy of loss is that grief lasts longer than the sympathy of others. People will tell you to move on. Don’t listen. They’ll grow weary of your sadness and tell you that you’re stuck. You’re not. They will judge you if you move too slow and also if you move too fast. Let them.
Finding happiness after loss is hard. It’s impossible if you care what others think. Don’t allow the opinions of others to impact your healing journey. It is yours and yours alone.
And most importantly…never forget… you are loved.
Michael Allio was slapped by those Bachelor in Paradise fans who feel sad for Danielle.
- Then why did you break your girlfriend’s heart if you knew you weren’t ready? It’s not as if you’re not old enough to know better. I hope she finds an honest and kind man….
- He should have been honest and not got involved with someone. She got hurt too.
- you should have thought about that before you broke her heart and made her think you [were] ready again. So wrong.
Michael Allio FInds Some Support
Not everyone hates the Bachelor Nation star. So, some of them rushed to thank him for sharing about loss and grief.
- Such an important message! I just wish I knew how to allow myself to feel loved again.💔😢
- on point about loss and grief. I had to send it to my cousin who lost her young daughter to cystic fibrosis. Thank you @michael_alliol4 for being raw and real!
- Grief lasts longer than the sympathy of others. That has to be one of the best statements I’ve heard during this horrible grief journey. That is so true.
