Taylor Swift Has New Possible Stalker Arrested By NYPD
Taylor Swift seems to have a new stalker. This isn’t new for the pop superstar, but this time the NYPD arrested the man before he could get close to Swift. The police arrested an unknown man in New York City when he tried to get into Swift’s NYC building after allegedly stalking it for over a week.

Man arrested trying to get into Taylor Swift’s NYC home
Police arrested a man on Saturday when he allegedly tried to break into Taylor Swift’s New York City apartment in Tribeca. According to the NYPD, officers received a call about a “disorderly person” on Franklin Street. When the police arrived, the man was trying to open a door to get into Swift’s apartment building. This was not the first time someone called the police on the man, though.
According to Page Six, neighbors had called the police on the man before. He had reportedly been scouring Swift’s home for “a few weeks.” However, while people called the police, they couldn’t do anything to the man because he hadn’t done anything illegal yet. That seemingly changed when he tried to get into Swift’s home on Saturday.
On Saturday, neighbors saw the man go up to Swift’s at around 1 p.m. ET. They are not sure if he knocked or rang the bell, but they called the police again when he didn’t leave. When the police showed up, he reportedly tried to open the door to get into the home. Neighbors said he had been lurking around the home for about a month.
Neighbors said he had been “sleeping on the stoop, chain-smoking constantly, shouting, and generally making everyone uncomfortable.” He seemingly showed up after Christmas and told people he wanted to see Taylor Swift. He had flowers at one point. The police showed up and took him into custody on Saturday and there was an active warrant out for his arrest.
It also appears that Taylor Swift was at home when he tried to get in on Saturday. Three of her bodyguards were seen at the apartment earlier before the man tried to get in.

This is not Taylor Swift’s first stalker
In 2019, another man was arrested for stalking Taylor Swift. That time, it was a man named Roger Alvarado. He also tried to break into her NYC home in Tribeca. When the man was asked if he would break in again, he said he would and there would be violence next time against anyone who tried to stop him – but not to Taylor Swift.

Alvarado ended up getting a plea deal and then ended up being sentenced to prison for four years. He was arrested for stalking before.
