Katie Thurston Gives Stand-Up Comedy A Try
Katie Thurston made an appearance on Season 9 of Bachelor In Paradise. However, she wasn’t there to find love. She hosted a comedy roast where contestants offered up their best jokes about their fellow beach mates.
Since her time as The Bachelorette, Katie Thurston has been slowly building a new career in stand-up comedy. She’s had several shows in the LA area.
Now she’s taking her show on the road. She took to her Instagram this week to share news about two upcoming dates. She’ll be performing in two shows in Oklahoma in March.
She’ll take the stage in Tulsa on March 6. Her second show is in Oklahoma City on March 7. Tickets are on sale now. The reality show vet asked her followers where she should perform next.
Why She’s Moving Again
A new career isn’t the only change in Katie’s life. Just a few years after moving to San Diego, she’s ready for something new. The Washington native is moving to Los Angeles.
Katie shared a question from a fan seemingly calling her out for moving all the time. The Bachelorette alum clapped back by saying she’s only moved a few times in her life.
“With only Tommy [her cat] relying on me, I have the freedom to live a life selfishly for me,” she wrote.
“And for now, I’m chasing my dreams. Next stop, LA,” Katie added.

Katie Thurston has had many high-profile romances. She got engaged to Blake Moynes on Season 17 of The Bachelorette. After ending their engagement, Katie went on to date John Hersey, who was a contestant on her season.
She launched their relationship on her social media in 2021 as part of her “12 Days of Messy” posts featuring Taylor Swift songs.
However, their relationship was short. She went on to join the CW show FBoy Island for another chance at love. She briefly dated Vince Xu after meeting on the show.
After the end of that relationship, she vowed to never date on reality TV again. Has she kept her word?
She took to her Instagram Story to share a small life update. A fan asked her for advice for a new relationship. “Take things slow those first three months,” Katie wrote on a video that appeared to show her holding someone’s hand.
She’s rumored to be dating comedian Michael Lenoci.
