On Reddit, a user posted a remark about Moriah Plath’s ex, Max Kallschmidt. They say, ” Max is MIA?” Then attach a Facebook post showing Max, McKayle, and marks covering Esther Kate’s face. Then the original poster says, “Shared in my local group .. Max & his new wife have failed to give her daughter to the bio da,d and law enforcement is now involved 🙃.” Within the picture, there is a call to action:
- “HAVE YOU SEEN OUR GRANDDAUGHTER???? We have a COURT ORDER for her to be given to her father.” Covering the father’s name, it continues, “By law enforcement. She’s been in the wind since Friday, January 12th, 2024. She has a visible scar on the right side of her forehead. If you have seen or have ANY information please contact your local law enforcement IMMEDIATELY!!! The last picture is a picture of her mother & her husband who she is believed to be with. Possibly traveling in a Black Honda PLEASE SHARE!!!”

Following the initial Reddit post, Welcome To Plathville fans gave their thoughts on the matter. Some were quick to address the legal implications for Moriah Plath’s ex, Max Kallschmidt, and new wife, McKayle.
- “But isn’t it considered kidnapping if she did not turn the child over to the other parent for their custodial time, and law enforcement is involved??”
- “I founf this post. It appears that they have split coustody and the grandma (dad’s mom) posted this on her page to get the word out. Mom didn’t turn her over on time.”
