In this viral TikTok, Benjamin Ryan’s mom and brother are waiting on him to get out of prison. They stand there being taped and waiting on him to arrive. What Did Benjamin Ryan Do?
This may not be his actual name because a Google search doesn’t come up with anything about a Benjamin Ryan being arrested ten years ago. There are people with similar names, but none of their cases fit the timeline for how long he has been in prison.

In the comments of his viral TikTok, Benjamin Ryan did reply to one person asking what he did to go to prison. He didn’t go into a lot of details, but it sounds like theft or burglary. The question was “What did he do” and he replied to it saying “He was a dummy. Took things that never belonged to him.” He didn’t go into any more details than that, though. If you scroll through the comments, a lot of people seem to think they figured out what he did, but most of them seem to be wrong.
A bit more speculation is that he was in a Florida jail. If this is so, there was a man by the same name who got out of prison on the same date he did in Florida. You can read his charges here. They are listed as grand theft auto, burglary, armed burglary with a weapon, fraud and more. This does appear to possibly be the same man.
Since his post went viral, Benjamin has been posting on TikTok about being out of prison. He has already got a job and things are looking up for him. It looks like he has plans to stay in line and not end up in prison again. Hopefully, as he continues to post he will give a story time and share why he did go to prison more specifically. His followers are now invested and really enjoying his stories. He already has 4500 followers and over 44K views on his TikToks.
