‘Sister Wives’ Christine Brown’s Wedding Brings Fans To Tears

Sister Wives: Christine and David’s Wedding special moved many TLC fans to tears. And, some of them hope that it boosted the show’s ratings. In other words, they’d prefer a show without Robyn and Kody Brown’s presence,

TLC did put Robyn and Kody on the screen for the special, but they were not on the invite list. So, they didn’t end up stealing the show from Christine Brown and David Woolley on their special day. Of course, the little that Sister Wives fans saw of them, was enough to conclude that Robyn did not really wish the couple happiness and joy.

The Sister Wives: Christine and David’s Wedding special also excluded Meri Brown. Actually, she and Christine clashed years ago, so that’s understandable. However, many TLC fans think it’s odd that Gwendlyn didn’t make it. Those who missed the celebration also missed a happy and deeply meaningful event that got some fans in tears.

Sister Wives Family Wedding Made People Cry

The expanded family of Truely Brown included a lot of David Woolley’s kids and grandchildren. Notably, the blended family seemed happy and at ease with each other. There was no snarking, and no “look at me” moments, except that Tony Padron grilled Corbin about his qualifications to officiate.

On Reddit, Christine and David’s Wedding viewers admitted that they felt moved to tears. The OP who raised the subject said:

Am I the only loser who has been crying on and off the whole episode? I don’t know if it’s because usually the episodes are so heavy or what. It’s just such a wholesome episode. I’m watching on a bit of a delay but I cried when Jenelle (sic) jumps up on the boat too 😂…

Not alone, others described why they felt so emotional.

  • I think it’s because we want happiness for the OG3.
  • Yea it’s a realization of their freedom and finally getting to be loved…It’s nice to know that you can find love…happy…pure…non-abusive love…
  • I recognize the feeling Christine is trying to describe but only gets wrinkled nosed squeals out. Because there aren’t words for it.
  • I cried a bunch! It was so moving to see her so happy finally. And to see the family members there enjoying themselves without a dumbass who needs to be the center of attention at all times. Love David already!
  • Seeing the adult kids warmed my cold heart and made me realize how much they added to the show. I understand if they don’t want to film often, but the show would be better with them!
