Rachel Leviss Sets Record Straight On Dog Drama

Graham the puppy was a central figure in Rachel Leviss’ life for most of her time on Vanderpump Rules. In Season 7, she tried to make friends by inviting the cast to a puppy shower. Yet, most of them rejected her as she was dating and living with James Kennedy. At the time, he was a verbally abusive drunk so no one wanted to really engage with him. Therefore, they wanted to stay away from Rachel, then known as Raquel. Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval did show up but that was it. Eventually, Rachel and James broke up and she kept Graham as he was a graduation gift from her parents.

When she went away to the mental health facility, her parents were watching the pup but he had some behavioral issues. He had been in classes but they failed and he had bitten Rachel’s mom so severely that being put to sleep was on the table. Vanderpump Dogs ended up stepping in and he went to go be with James who seemed to miss him when he was gone. Now, according to @byewighellodrama, Rachel spilled all the tea on her new podcast, Rachel Goes Rogue.

A Reddit thread was started to address it all and this is what the OP said:

  • I’m sorry but this all adds up. We know James is abusive, especially when intoxicated. LVP consistently ignores the men’s toxic behaviour, and she was clearly using an animal’s welfare for a storyline yet again

At the same time, Graham seemed really excited to be reunited with James. Moreover, James was brokenhearted when he could not be around him after the breakup.

More Fans Weigh In

When Rachel Leviss and James Kennedy had parted ways, she opted not to let him see Graham. Only when he was injured did she allow them to reunite at the park. So, what did fellow Redditors have to say about her story?

  • The truth is in between all these stories. Rachel did not train that dog consistently, James probably added to the problems, and LVP saw a storyline opportunity of some sort.
  • The truth is somewhere in the middle but I don’t think Rachel is completely lying.
  • He might be terrible but she’s trying to blame everyone else instead of recognizing that aggression in dogs can be genetic and situational

It seems like fans are torn and believe that Rachel needs to take some accountability for her actions, as well. Hopefully, viewers will see Graham in Season 11 and his actions will speak for themselves. What do you think of this latest story?
