‘Sister Wives’ Kody Brown Chimes In On Christine’s Wedding Guest List

Robyn and Kody Brown talked about Christine’s wedding in a recent teaser for TLC’s Sister Wives: Christine and David’s Wedding, and he pondered the wedding guest list. Notably, his last remaining wife, Robyn was not happy with the direction of his tale. And, it’s not the first time that she tried to get him to say something other than what she was hearing. So, she coached the TLC star through it as if he were a toddler.

Kody Brown Gets Muzzled By Robyn?

Soon, TLC fans will see Christine Brown marry David Woolley and they look forward to the special. Unfortunately, those who don’t like Robyn and her husband, see that the couple feature in the special. On the day that David tied the knot with his wife, her ex and Robyn left Flagstaff. A lucky fan snapped them at the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. So, they didn’t get put on the guest list for the wedding. Everyone knows that the wedding took place in Utah in a magical setting.

When Kody Brown talked about those people who attended the wedding, Robyn didn’t want him to tell his story to the cameras. Sound familiar? If you watched the special Talk Back shows after Season 18’s one-on-one Tell-All, you would have seen her stop him from talking by physically placing her hand over his mouth. Actually, Sister Wives fans will probably never forget it, as the patriarch so often said that no woman speaks for him.

Christine Brown’s Guest List – Robyn Steps In

This week, Entertainment Tonight shared an exclusive preview for Sister Wives: Christine and David’s Wedding. You can watch the video further down in this article. In it, it seemed that a producer asked how he felt about the wedding. Instead of just saying that he’s happy for Christine and David, he started telling a long story:

I knew Christine and David were going to get married because you know, I met David. I saw a wedding announcement at my sister’s house. It was kind of curious to me that some of my family had been invited to the wedding…I’m resolved with it. Our relationship ended. She made the accusation that I had…“

At that point, Kody Brown was cut off by Robyn who looked insincere. She said, “Aren’t we just so happy for them? We’re just so happy for them, right? This is what we want.” Well, it seemed that he got the message and an InTouch Weekly writer noted that she sounded as if she had “coached” him. One has to wonder if the Sister Wives execs told him to keep his ugly tantrums in check.

The Sister Wives‘ patriarch continued, but he backed off and finally got to where he said something acceptable to his wife:

I’m just telling my story! Christine said to our children, ‘Dad has his soulmate. I’m going to go look for mine.’ And so she says she’s found her soulmate, and so I’m happy for her for that fact. Just because I’ve been angry [about] them for three years doesn’t mean I can’t be happy for them.

As for Robyn Brown, having gotten the TLC star to say what she thinks the camera needs to hear, she said, “I hope that Christine and David can be happy. That’s all I’m going to say.”
