Brayden Bowers found himself unlucky in love during Season 9 of Bachelor In Paradise. His situationships with Kat Izzo and later Rachel Recchia didn’t pan out. He left the beach very much single.
But the producers dropped a huge surprise on viewers by revealing Brayden’s new romance in an update at the end of the season finale. Brayden had started dating Bachelor Season 27 contestant Christina Mandrell.
In fact, he’s moving from California to Nashville to live with his new love and her young daughter.

The sweet moment happened when they were being interviewed by Jesse Palmer before the Golden Wedding ceremony. “For the first time in my life I feel like I found someone that I can be myself with unapologetically,” Brayden confessed during the proposal.
Christina agreed to marry him, though they haven’t officially set a wedding date. Viewers took to Twitter to share their reaction to the proposal. While fans were happy for the newly engaged couple, they felt it was the wrong moment to pop the question.

The official Golden Bachelor Instagram account shared a photo of Brayden and Christina after their engagement. While the couple had some well-wishes from Bachelor Nation fans, many comments called them out for the stunt.
