Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist are getting married tonight on live television. Ahead of the ceremony they are sharing more about what fans can expect to see. Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist share secret surprises for wedding tonight
The Golden Bachelor Wedding will be airing live on ABC in a few hours. People shared all the details about Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist’s big day. Gerry shared that this will be a family affair. Everyone is involved in their wedding and they are having so much fun.
Theresa said her daughter Jen has played a huge role in helping them plan their big day. She said, “I can’t say enough about how wonderful she’s been. There are so many decisions to be made, and many, many times we weren’t available to give an answer, and she’s provided it. And then his daughters are involved, and my daughter’s talking to his daughters — it’s been a family event.”
She went on to say that all of their family members have something prepared to say. She said, “They all have something prepared. Some of it you will see, some of it you won’t see, but every single person is really involved.”

What’s really special about that is neither Theresa nor Gerry have vetted the speeches. So, since it’s live, anything can happen. Gerry shared that they are looking forward to the element of surprise.
Gerry said, “Both of us are looking forward to some of the element of surprise. If we get too involved and overplan, I don’t think there’ll be as much joy for us. We trust our children and their good judgment and the things that they’ve done in the past that reinforce their humor, their judgment, their sensitivity to our situation. To me, they have free rein. I’m really looking forward to when we see things unfold. I think that’ll be the greatest fun.”

More wedding details
The wedding is being described as elegant but not too stuffy. There will be tons of flowers all pinks and peaches. Since Theresa loves to garden it was very important to her.
Gerry wrote his vows by hand to add a personal touch while Theresa is hoping they say them right.
The Golden Bachelor also thinks he will lose it when he sees his bride walking down the aisle. Her son will be escorting her.
