Tyler Cameron Formed Lasting Friendships On Special Forces
Tyler Cameron has been reluctant to appear on Bachelor In Paradise or The Bachelor after getting his heart broken by Hannah Brown on The Bachelorette.
However, he’s clearly not opposed to joining other reality shows. He came in second place on Fox’s The Real Dirty Dancing in 2022, dedicating his appearance to his late mother.
This year he was one of the celebrities on Season 2 of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. Viewers watched as the contestants underwent rigorous military-style mental and physical tests.
Tyler was one of the three winners, along with fellow Bachelor Nation alum Nick Viall and Olympic speed skater Erin Jackson.
While 2023 was a hard year for him, it wasn’t all bad. He included a photo with his Special Forces pals Nick, Erin, and JoJo Siwa in his look back on the last year.
Tyler Cameron Gets Real About ‘Tough Lessons’ 2023 Taught Him
Filming Special Forces did a number on Tyler Cameron’s mental health. He previously shared the reason he went on a solo vacation before returning home to his family.
As a new year began, the reality star took a moment to reflect on the year before. He took to his Instagram to share a lengthy post about how difficult 2023 was.
The post included a carousel of photos with his highlights of 2023. The first photo shows Tyler in front of a camera, filming for television.
“2023 took its toll on me. It taught me what hard work truly is,” he began the message to his followers. He continued, “It taught me what real stress and real responsibilities are. It taught me who and what matters the most.”
Tyler added that he’s “grateful” for the lessons but admitted, “Some really tough lessons that really stung and some that I can look back and laugh about now.”
He went on to compare 2023 to “that ex I never want to see again but grateful for the roller coaster that it took me on.”
Despite having a tough year, Tyler Cameron remains optimistic for this coming year. “They say you reap what you sow. Well I sowed my butt off and excited for it all to unfold in 2024. Love you guys and let’s go for it in 2024!”
