Mama June Shannon just freaked out fans of the WeTV show by doing something they never expected. In fact, it’s like Hell might have just frozen over. It came through a recent social media post where she talked about getting viewership up. It was followed by a promo for the new season of Mama June: Family Crisis.

Mama June Shannon Took Lots Of Criticism Recently

Reality TV fans always slam the cast of any show. However, Lauryn Efird, (Pumpkin,) Alana Thompson, (Honey Boo Boo,) and their mom, June find tons of critics. For years, fans were concerned about Alana and her bad language. She and her sister did some very filthy cussing during Lives over the years. Plus, their mom drops plenty of F-Bombs when she rants. But more recently, another reason for criticism arrived.

When Anna Cardwell passed away from cancer in December, Mama June Shannon took over custody of her grandchild Kaitlyn. And, fans are convinced she wants to use her for more reality TV content. After all, she and Anna were not that close, and she didn’t seem interested in Kylee and Kaitlyn. Now the sisters were separated, Mama June: Family Crisis fans hope Kylee’s dad Michael Cardwell gets to win the custody fight. So, critics found a lot of cussing from the family.

What’s Going On With Alana Thompson’s Mom?

Plenty of WeTV viewers threatened to boycott the new season of the show because of the way the family handled Anna’s death. So if numbers drop, then WeTV might have no option but to dump the show. Could that be the reason for the matriarch’s moment of Hell freezing over? On Reddit, a long discussion started up about potentially falling numbers.

The OP, who watched a sweet video about numbers getting boosted by Mama June Shannon seemed shocked. They said:

Well, she only used the word, “sh*t” once, and one small cuss word for the promo for the new season as well: which is unusual. Others put in their opinions as to why that might have happened. Everyone knows cuss words fly out during her Lives on social media.

Mama June Shannon Motives For A Cleaner Act?

Perhaps WeTV fans on Reddit nailed the reasons for the lack of cussing on TikTok.

  • WeTV may [have] seen commenters saying boycott February New Season. If everyone started expressing disgust with their social media to WeTV perhaps they could be boycotted. Their actions or lack of parenting towards the children in the family is enough for people to stand up and say No we don’t want to watch this “Trash” Family.
  • It was a sweet little NYE invitation to hang out with June on TikTok and help her get her viewers up to a million, so she can give away a ‘prize’. LOL
  • She’s probably been advised [to] clean up her act after the coke incident. (sic)
  • Hell must have froze over……. or she knows her filthy mouth and filthy lifestyle will not bode well with trying to get custody of Anna’s child. She’s been caught, the d[r]ugs and everything else, she had to just shut it down.. lets see how long this cleaned up version lasts, prob not long.
