‘LPBW’ Matt Roloff Takes Iconic Property Off Market
Little People Big World star, Matt Roloff recently tried to sell a portion of the farm that he purchased from Amy, but he’s taken it off the market again. Initially, he wanted $4 million but people didn’t seem interested in buying it. So, he turned it into a fancy Airbnb rental where visitors could also engage in light farming activities.
LPBW Matt Roloff Unlists Amy’s Old Farm Land
In October last year, the Little People Big World star pulled it off the market. Then in August this year, he listed it at lower than $4 million, wanting $3,395,000. In the meantime, he spent a lot of money making the home nice. In fact, some people rather envied the glittering mansion. At one stage, he even suggested that the family might get together there for reunions. But, it’s not clear if that ever happened.
Matt Roloff picked up some criticism as people called out his lack of business acumen. After all, the Airbnb idea didn’t look like it was selling amazingly fast. Mind you, the reviews were good. Also, he could have kept it in the family when his sons, Jeremy and Zach made their offers for it. Long-sighted Amy Roloff who sold the TLC patriarch the land in the first place did not think it would work out as a holiday rental either.
LPBW Amy On Putting The Farm Back On The Market
The farm has been listed, lowered, reslisted, and more. In July, it was Amy who suggested that TLC fans might see it go back on the market. Basically, it’s expensive and her family couldn’t buy it even if they wanted to. Now, thanks to a new report by The Sun, it seems that Matt’s still dithering over what to do with the property.
This week, the outlet reported that the Little People, Big World patriarch had re-listed it, and now he unlisted it again. The outlet wrote:
Matt… has taken it off the market sometime in December.
The LPBW star didn’t move into the big house with Caryn Chandler, and Amy wouldn’t have loved that idea anyway. Instead, he builds a new home for them on the side of the farm where they hold the Pumpkin Season event. Meanwhile, so much for renting and farming a bit, as it seems that he limited areas that visitors could go to.
Some TLC fans would like to see Jacob Roloff get a shot at farming the land. However, he’s got probably less money than his brothers and his mother as he left the TLC show years ago. Now that Matt Roloff has pulled it off the market again, do you think he might reconsider selling it and go back to normal farming activities?
