Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson Has Service Dog?
Does Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson have a service dog and if so, what is the reasoning behind it? More so, did any of her fans know about this and when did it come out? Read on for more details on the service dog and how it was discovered.
Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson Has Service Dog?
Fans have watched Alana ‘Honey Boo’ Thompson grow up right before their very eyes. She started out on Here Comes Honey Boo Boo when she was just a little girl. Then, when her mother moved on to Mama June: From Not to Hot, Alana was blossoming from tween to teen. In the last season of Family Crisis, she was a senior in high school with a committed boyfriend, Dralin Carswell. Plus, she was looking ahead to college. By the finale, she had been accepted to her dream school in Colorado and is now a freshman at Regis University.
Since her sister, Anna Cardwell just passed away from stage 4 adrenal carcinoma, Alana and her family have been together a lot. They even spent the holidays in Disney World. Now, a Reddit thread has emerged and it appears that, in this time, something was discovered about Alana. The OP wrote this:
- On pumpkins latest tt she mentioned that they were having problems with Alana’s service animal at the parks? Why would she need a service dog and is the first time they’ve mentioned it?
This begs the question if fans have even heard about this before. More so, has anyone seen a dog accompanying Alana around? While they were walking in Disney and filming, a dog was not in sight. So, what did fellow Redditors have to say?
- Probably an ESA not a “working” service dog. A lot of places are starting to disallow ESA.
- She was live a short while ago, the dog is for her migraines. So the dog is an emotional support dog as well as a trained seeing eye dog – BS. It’s a hyper little pug that she paid $300 online to get “emotional support status” for it.
Breaking Rules
Okay, so another Redditor did some research and learned that Disney allows service animals. However, it appears that “Emotional Support Animals are not permitted in the Disneyland Resort Parks.” Immediately, followers felt that Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson expected the parks to bend the rules for her. Yet, if they do it for her then they would have to do it for everyone. As the thread went on, Redditors really questioned the validity of Alana needing the ESA. They believed that it was just so she could have the pooch in every and all places that she wanted. Looks like it did not work so well.
