Ashley Iaconetti is weighing in on whether she thinks Bachelor in Paradise should end after the disastrous season that just happened. Season 9 proved to be a big flop and all the couples announced their breakups within just a few days of the finale airing. BIP has been one of the most successful spin-offs of the franchise with numerous couples getting married and going on to have families. Now, with the success of The Golden Bachelor and the big fail this season on the beach, many are wondering if this is the end for the hit show. What does Ashley think? Keep reading to find out more.
Ashley Iaconetti weighs on whether or not Bachelor in Paradise should end
Ashley Iaconetti is one of the success stories of Bachelor in Paradise. She met Jared Haibon on the show and while it took a few years for him to fall for her, they are now happily married and have a son, Dawson.
There have also been many other success stories that all began on the beaches of Mexico. Usually, there is at least one couple who makes it fairly long-term. This season proved different.
Now, after Season 9 had nobody successful, a fan asked Ashley if she thinks the show should end. Ashley said, “No, this one was the odd one out. They just truly didn’t have any compatible matches in the cast. It was bound to happen at some point. Actually kinda impressive it took so long.”
Rumors have been flying
While Ashley Iaconetti believes the show shouldn’t end, others are saying it’s possible it will happen. Reality Steve shared that he has heard rumblings that Bachelor in Paradise is being replaced by The Golden Bachelorette at least for the upcoming 2024 season.
It’s only speculation and rumors at this point but it seems after flopping this year it may get put on the back burner.
Steve also believes that perhaps the show will do a special two-week summer games special show as they originally planned before COVID-19.
Successful couples
There have been a lot of successful couples to emerge from Bachelor in Paradise. Ashley and Jared are just one of many. Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert also met and fell in love on the show. The same happened for Becca Kufrin and Thomas Jacobs.
Abigail Heringer and Noah Erb also met on the beach and are now engaged and living in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Another successful story is Caelynn Miller-Keyes and Dean Unglert as well as Mari Pepin and Kenny Brassch.
What do you think about BIP? Should Season 9 be the last one?
