‘RHOBH’ Sutton Stracke Reveals Father’s Tragic Death
RHOBH star Sutton Stracke posted a heartbreaking tribute to her late father while revealing his tragic death. She has chatted about him on the show but it has truly cut her very deeply. Read on for more details and to see what the mother of three had to say.
RHOBH Sutton Stracke Reveals Father’s Tragic Death
Sutton Stracke arrived on the RHOBH scene in Season 10, with a lot of money and a reputation to protect. She was brought in through Lisa Rinna and much of the cast did not know what to do with her. When Erika Jayne was starting her divorce, she was very worried about how it would reflect upon her. This caused a lot of drama between her and Erika which they have tried to work through. During this time, when Erika was really struggling around her first Christmas single, Sutton shared something deeply personal. Stracke explained that her father had committed suicide right around Christmas. That was a true struggle for her and for good reason.
After Dorit Kemsley’s home was broken into in the Season 12 premiere, Sutton had a tone-deaf reaction. She later explained that anything having to do with guns was hard for her. Especially after what she went through with her father. Then, this year, on December 23rd, Sutton honored her late father with a throwback photo of the two of them. She is sitting on his lap and they are all smiles as Stracke recalls how this incident happened 21 years ago. However, she was able to find help through NAMI, a mental organization.

Though this post was probably very therapeutic for Sutton Stracke, it helped so many of her fans and followers. They were able to share their stories of loss and sadness. Plus, they thanked her for all that she had done to raise mental health awareness. So, regardless of what fans and co-stars think about her and her behavior, she has definitely shown she has empathy and found her niche in helping others.
