Gerry Turner & Theresa Nist Wed On-Air In Unofficial Ceremony?

Did Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist wed in an on-air unofficial ceremony?
It’s getting closer to the Golden Bachelor live wedding television event. Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist will get married on live television as fans watch and cheer them on. The couple will be surrounded by family, friends and fellow Bachelor alums as they say their vows.
They will be officially married on January 4 but did they just tie the knot on-air in an unofficial ceremony?
Gerry and Theresa appeared on Live With Kelly and Mark where Kelly Ripa announced that her husband Mark Consuelos is an ordained minister.
Kelly said, “We understand that they want you guys to get married on TV. Mark is an ordained minister and since we’re all gathered here today, we could just do a wedding right here.”
As Gerry and Theresa both nervously laughed, Kelly handed Theresa a white bouquet of flowers and they even handed them rings on a pillow. Mark started his speech by saying, “I just have a few questions. Theresa, do you plan to cherish and honor Gerry in sickness and in health?”
Both Gerry and Theresa played along and agreed. Mark continued saying, “By the authority vested in me by the show of Live with Kelly and Mark, I pronounce you husband and wife.” Theresa was laughing and said, “No, wait, we’re not ready.”
Kelly wrapped up the unofficial ceremony by telling Gerry and Theresa, “You may now suck on your ring pops.” Mark then told the couple it was just a rehearsal and they are not really married yet.
They also discussed where they might live after wedding
GerryTurner and Theresa Nist also discussed where they will live after they are married. It seemed they had their hearts set on South Carolina. However, now, Gerry revealed they are having second thoughts. They have never really talked about moving to Indiana. However, now that Gerry has been to New Jersey he is really considering moving there. Of course, fans know that Theresa lives in New Jersey.
Kelly was all on board with them moving to New Jersey because she noted that she is from there as well. Plus they have the best blueberries in the world according to Kelly.
