Courtney Waldrop Crashes HARD After ‘Unexplainable Energy’
TLC’s Sweet Home Sextuplets alum Courtney Waldrop admits she crashed HARD after some “unexplainable energy” allowed her to make Christmas magic for her children.
Sadly, Christmas gifted the Sweet Home Sextuplets alum with the flu and she was officially down for the count. She, however, was happy to report that she didn’t crash and burn with the flu until after she was done making Christmas special for her children.
Courtney Waldrop treated her fans to a collection of photos. The photos featured her beautiful family coming together and preparing to celebrate Christmas. Furthermore, she teased she couldn’t wait to share more photos from Christmas morning with her children. Fans, however, assumed the TLC mother plans on waiting until she feels a bit better.

Courtney Waldrop Crashes HARD After ‘Unexplainable Energy’
In a truly relatable post, Courtney Waldrop said she was in that position every mother dreaded as she prepared for Christmas. The moment when a mother can feel a sickness slowly settling into their body. Courtney just knew she was getting ready to get sick. She, however, was doing everything she could to fight it off and make Christmas special for her children.
Surprisingly, a surge of energy she could not explain powered her body. And, she was able to push through to make Christmas special for her children. Leaning heavily on her faith, Courtney believed it was the Lord that allowed her to hold off on getting sick so she could make magic for her babies.
I believe the Lord provided unexplainable energy for me to keep going and make everything special for the kids because soon after opening presents this morning….I completely crashed and I knew I couldn’t fight the flu any longer. I felt it coming but I wasn’t going to let it stop me
She Crashed After Opening Gifts
Unfortunately, her surge of unexplained energy came to an end. Shortly after her children finished opening their presents, she instantly crashed. Her body giving in to the flu.
Courtney Waldrop continued to explain: “BUT It finally did!!! Because the flu is relentless!! That’s ok though…kids are all well now and I will soon be too!!”
Fans of Sweet Home Sextuplets urged Courtney to take care of herself and get better soon. Many found her post relatable as someone in their household also got sick on Christmas Day. Many fans wished her family a Merry Christmas and sent up prayers that she would get well soon.
