The Bachelor BTS Shady Methods Used On Contestants

Most people are well aware that reality television is not truly real. There is a lot that goes on behind closed doors that viewers are not privy to. Crafty editing can make even the nicest cast members look villainous with one simple cut. More so, editors can take conversations from other times, splice words, and make it appear that contestants are being catty when they actually never said anything mean. Kristin Cavallari from Laguna Beach fame shared that much of what viewers heard was never said at the time of a scene. It was a Frankenbite from a different time. Finally, it was put over this particular scene to take the moment completely out of context.

More so, it actually worked and caused a lot of drama. The same thing has happened in Bachelor Nation, according to yahoo!. An example was given and it pertains to Clare Crawley confiding in a raccoon. As it turns out, she was actually speaking to a producer but the way the show flipped it, it made her look a tad off. Additionally, there is an alcohol issue. Currently, some housewives from Bravo are alleging that the cast was being plowed with alcohol. Therefore, that contributed to their behavior. The same can be said for the Bachelor Nation crew.

In the early years of the show, the women were more or less pushed to keep chugging champagne. Drinking made for good television as it makes people do it of character things. Plus, they feel more free. However, it can cause a lot of trouble and it has in The Bachelor world. Of course, interviews are crucial but they are monotonous and draining. Some contestants just said anything and everything because it was all too much.

The Endgame

Aside from all of this, one of the hardest things for The Bachelor contestants is personal details being used against them. They will share these tales from their past in the interview process and then, they come back to haunt them. Somehow, they will be twisted into the series and abuse the privilege of knowing someone’s past pain. Finally, production found ways to manipulate the leads into sharing their favorites and then, mysteriously, they would be gone from dates or events.

All in all, it seems pretty on-brand for a reality show that is there solely to entertain viewers. Yet, did you have any idea The Bachelor was so devious? Let us know in the comments below.
