‘Swamp People’ On History Season 15 Gets A Premiere Date
It’s been almost a year since fans watched the premiere of Swamp People, Season 14. Now, Season 15 will come along soon, and bring more about the alligator hunters in the swamps of the Atchafalaya River Basin in Lousiana. The premiere date announcement got a lot of History Channel viewers excited.
Swamp People Is Very Popular
When Season 14 ended, people started waiting for news that more episodes would come along. Sure enough, a hint that the show was filming arrived via Jacob Landry six months after the prior season ended. He also hinted about filming more back in July. However, there’s been little information about Season 15 since then.
In May, Swamp People fans heard that Pickle Wheat chatted about how they waste nothing from the alligators that they hunt. Speaking with The Sun, he said that even though they hunt wild ones rather than those alligators raised in captivity, they still earn good money from most of the skins. Alligator meat is selling for a good price, so they still seem to be doing well earning a dangerous living.

History Channel Can’t Film All Year
Because the people who hunt alligators have a quota and tag system, only certain months are allocated for them to earn a living. But over the years, people have gotten to know their hardships. For example, Big Tee got a serious infection in a bone, and fans quickly rushed to help fundraise for his treatment.
Swamp People, like other successful History Channel programs, takes viewers into the lives of people who ditched a nine-to-five lifestyle. Mountain Men comes to mind. While the shows are not for everyone, if you love the outdoors, History has plenty of great shows for you to watch. So, watch out for the premiere of the alligator people.
Premiere Date For Swamp People
On Facebook, a poster arrived for Season 15, along with the premiere date. If you can’t wait for it it’s less than a month away. The alligator hunters will return to History Channel on Thursday, January 4 at 8/7c. The caption didn’t give away many spoilers:
We’re heading back to the bayou. #SwampPeople.
