Did Chumlee From ‘Pawn Stars’ Die? Where Is This History Star?
Fans of Pawn Stars love Chumlee. He is known for working at the World Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop in Downtown Las Vegas. Rick Harrison is the patriarch of the History Channel series and the owner of the infamous pawn shop. More so, Chum started working there because he was Corey Harrison’s childhood best friend.
That means Austin Lee Russell, Chum’s real name, is not a member of the Harrison family. However, he is a vital part of their business and television series. You could even say he is an honorary Harrison.
Yet, where has he been? What has happened to Chumlee? Did he die? Should fans be alarmed? Read on for more details.
Where Is Chumlee?
Pawn Stars fans have nothing to be concerned about. In 2023, Chumlee is still alive and well. Best of all, he is thriving. Moreover, he is still on the famed History Channel series that has broadcast over 500 episodes, and still counting.
However, back in 2016, Chum went through some dark times. He was accused of sexual assault. When the police went to his Las Vegas home, they found guns and some drugs. Unfortunately, what got him into big trouble was that some of these guns were not registered.
After a court hearing, he was on probation for the next three years. Thankfully, the Harrisons stood by him. He got through this tough time and rebuilt his life and reputation.
Chumlee Owns A Candy Shop
Firstly, Chumlee is now an entrepreneur. However, Pawn Stars fans may not know that the comedic reality star has his own candy store. This venue is called Chumlee’s Candy On The Boulevard. He opened it up back in 2017. Best of all, this store is in Vegas, right near the pawn shop. This is a perfect stop for any tourist visiting Las Vegas and checking out some important reality series sites.
There is even an Instagram page for fans to follow and track when Chum pays a visit. Additionally, he will sign merchandise for fans who come in to say hi.
The candy store offers some unique items. They sell vintage and novelty candy and that includes candy in bulk. In addition, there are keychains and bobbleheads of the fan-favorite reality star. The candy and merchandise are as unique and special as the owner of the shop!

When Can You Watch Pawn Stars?
Currently, you can watch new episodes of Pawn Stars on Wednesday nights at 9 p.m., Eastern, on the History Channel. You can see Chumlee, Rick Harrison, and Corey Harrison looking at historical objects and bartering for the best deal.
More importantly, each episode is only one-hour long. These are supersized episodes filled with Chumlee fun.
