Bringing Up Bates star Katie Bates likes to share positive updates about her family. They’ve been especially embracing the holiday season. The 24-year-old mom previously shared a heartwarming clip of her family putting up their Christmas tree. It’s going to be her daughter’s first Christmas as well, and she stated that it will be their best holiday yet. Bringing Up Bates: Katie Bates’ Daughter Hailey Picks Out Christmas Tree
Katie has been sharing clips and photos on Instagram about their holiday preparations. Last month, the Bringing Up Bates star uploaded cute photos of Hailey as she helped pick out the Christmas tree her parents would purchase.
It’s that FIRST TIME Christmas magic for our little Hailey James! She helped us pick out the perfect tree, and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate this Christmas as a family of three!
Gil and Kelly Jo Bates usually gather their children for Christmas. Due to this, fans can expect that more exciting things will be revealed in the coming days. However, Katie and Travis suffered an unexpected problem in their house ahead of the holiday.
Travis & Katie Suffer House Disaster
Katie recently took to YouTube to share the recent problem that happened to their house. According to the Bringing Up Bates star, their heater just broke and their basement got flooded on the same day. Luckily, Travis quickly came up with solutions before things took a worse turn.
He revealed that the pump malfunctioned in their basement, leading to water leaks. Travis Clark also revealed in the vlog that their heater broke, which initially led him to go to the basement and discover the flood. Luckily, they have a fireplace to battle the cold weather.

Aside from their Christmas preparations, Katie also took to social media to share a heartwarming clip of Travis singing for his daughter.

She loves her daddy’s voice! Trav has been singing to her since the day she was born and it’s been the sweetest thing to watch! These two melt my heart!
Many were also left in awe by Travis’ singing talent. He presently works as the Media Assistant and Kids Choir Leader at their church. Additionally, he’s also a songwriter and has already released multiple singles. According to the Bringing Up Bates star, he’s been singing since he was a kid and has made money that way.
