‘Counting On’ Jessa Duggar Welcomes Fifth Child
Counting On alum Jessa Duggar has finally given birth to her fifth child. Many have been waiting for the 31-year-old since she announced that she’s due on December 22nd of this year. Counting On: Jessa Duggar’s Rainbow Baby
Jessa suffered a miscarriage last year, making her fifth child a big deal to many. She’s been documenting her pregnancy over the past few months. The Counting On alum stated in her recent vlog that she and Ben already knew the gender of her baby, but they would prefer to reveal it in public by the time she gives birth. Jessa also went emotional after revealing that her due date was around the time she discovered her miscarriage. Now, the wound will heal much better as she welcomes her rainbow baby.
Jessa Welcomes Fifth Child
Jessa recently took to YouTube to share a 10-minute vlog about her birth journey. The video started with the Counting On alum sharing their family activities before she went to the hospital. Moments later, the pregnant mom began to labor.
She was surrounded by her loved ones, such as her mother, Michelle Duggar, and her husband, Ben Seewald. After that, Jessa Duggar finally delivered her rainbow baby, and it was a boy. He also weighed 9lb. 14oz. The former reality TV personality also received positive comments from her viewers.
- “Happy birthday baby #5. Congratulations Ben and Jessa and siblings! You were certainly correct when you said you were having a big baby, wow he was almost 11 pounds! I” one person said.

By the end of the vlog, Jessa shared a preview of her kids finally meeting their newest sibling. Unfortunately, the vlog ended by the time they got close to the baby boy. Many are also excited and hoping that the Counting On alum will release the second part of her video soon.
Jessa Duggar has yet to share the name of her baby boy. But with her latest vlog, fans can expect that she will soon make exciting posts on her social media pages. Jim Bob didn’t appear in the vlog. But with Michelle’s presence, there’s a possibility that the patriarch will appear in part two of the vlog.
