Kourtney Kardashian Has Positive Message for New Moms
Many new moms feel the pressure to get back to the gym to get their pre-pregnancy body back. Kourtney Kardashian has a positive message.
A lot of celebrities seem to just bounce straight back to their pre-pregnancy bodies. Many head straight to the gym and get back into rigorous routines, making non-celebrity moms feel bad for their lack of gym routine. Kourtney Kardashian, 44, took to social media to share a positive message as she got back into her gym routine. This wasn’t an attempt to shame new moms.
How Many Weeks Post-Partum Is Kourtney Kardashian?
The eldest of the Kardashian siblings is seven weeks post-partum. She and Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker welcomed their son, Rocky, on Nov. 1, 2023.
The birth wasn’t without complications. While Kardashian pulled through, her son was rushed in for emergency surgery to save his life. The 44-year-old reality star took to social media to share her love and appreciation for Barker, who rushed to her side when they learned their son would need surgery despite being on tour at the time. She also shared her love for other parents who have been through such a thing, something she didn’t quite understand until she went through it herself.
Is seven weeks too early to be back in the gym? Mayo Clinic makes suggestions based on the type of delivery. As Kourtney and Travis haven’t spoken much about their son’s birth, it’s hard to say whether this could be too early. It looks like she is doing things based on medical advice from the professionals.

What Is Kourtney Kardashian Doing in the Gym?
By such a public figure posting on social media about her workout, it could have a negative impact on others around her. However, Kardashian made sure to include a positive message with the type of workout that she is doing, according to the screengrab of the story Page Six got.
In the story, she shared that she is only walking on an incline for her first day back. The message continued with support to new moms. She made it clear that it is “not a race” and that the “body is healing.” This is something that more celebrity moms need to remind others of. There are all sorts of traumas moms go through when giving birth. Even a regular birth leads to many internal changes as the organs move back to where they were. It’s time for women to stop comparing themselves to each other in the “race” to get back to pre-pregnancy bodies.

Kardashian has spoken out a lot recently about the way her family forgives men and even makes excuses for their behavior too easily. She wants to see changes happen, and it looks like she and her husband are focused on bringing that change. That includes a focus on healthy ways to return to a pre-pregnancy body.
