Is Bachelor in Paradise getting axed for 2024?

Rumors are flying that Bachelor in Paradise is getting cut for the 2024 summer season. With the popularity of The Golden Bachelor fans are begging for more. Seeing the senior population look for and be excited to find love again touched a lot of people. It gave a lot of people hope. So, with fans wanting more of the senior spinoffs is there room for BIP?

Reality Steve discussed the rumors he’s been hearing circulating about The Bachelor franchise. He was quick to point out that nothing is confirmed and it’s just rumors at this point. However, he has heard that the 2024 season of Paradise is not happening.

The network is allegedly going to replace Bachelor in Paradise with The Golden Bachelorette.

Steve is hearing that after The Bachelorette wraps up filming in May, the show plans to start filming The Golden Bachelorette shortly after. If this happens then there is a big possibility there will be no time to squeeze in filming Paradise.

Steve has heard that with the success of Gerry Turner’s season, the show will most likely extend production. Gerry’s season was rather short and only aired in one-hour increments. It’s possible they will make the episodes and the entire season longer.

ABC execs have not officially confirmed that there will even be a Golden Bachelorette. However, they appear to be on board with continuing the senior spinoff of the franchise. Plus, Steve pointed out that there are currently advertisements looking for men to date the next Golden Bachelorette.

What happens if the rumors are true?

If the rumors regarding Bachelor in Paradise prove to be true, will it ever return? There are a lot of unanswered questions that will be answered in the coming months.

It’s possible the network will figure out a way to squeeze in filming Paradise. However, Steve is convinced there may not be enough time. Instead, he believes production could try and do a two-week Bachelor Summer Games since the summer Olympics will be taking place.

This is all just speculation at this point until ABC makes an official announcement.

Stay tuned for more updates.
