Travis Kelce Claps Back At Fans For Booing Girlfriend, Taylor Swift
Over the weekend, Taylor Swift attended boyfriend, Travis Kelce’s game. But Taylor didn’t receive the resounding welcome that she usually does on the Chiefs home turf. After the Kansas City Chiefs and New England Patriots game, Travis pushed back at Patriot fans for booing his girlfriend, Taylor.
Travis Kelce Recognizes His Girl
On Wednesday, December 20, on New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce podcast, Travis addressed the issue of fans booing Taylor Swift during Sunday’s game. Within the podcast, Travis mentioned to Jason that Taylor was spotlighted on the screen at the game. He said, “They showed Taylor at the game.” Notably, most people responded with a roar of approval, but not everyone. Additionally, Travis proudly recognizes, “You don’t see an entire home team fan base go insane for someone wearing the opposite colors.” Pointing out the positive response, Travis said, “Just shows you how amazing that girl is.” Then acknowledging the clout she carries, “They went absolutely insane when they showed Taylor on the screen.”

Travis Claps Back At Booing Fans
However, Travis Kelce also clapped back by calling out the fans that disrespected Taylor Swift, “There might have been a few Brads and Chads that were booing. But for the most part, everyone was f–king screaming their tail off for her.” In a vulnerable moment, he admitted he was “trying to keep it cool” and not “show [his] cards.”
However, he didn’t let the haters get the best of him at Gillette Stadium. Instead, he reflects, “It was fun, man. … Taylor’s on record saying that stadium was one of the funnest that she’s played at. So for them to show her, shout-out to the Patriots for doing that.” Even so, Taylor didn’t seem to be too bothered by the negativity. All in all, she enjoyed her time chatting with Brittany Mahomes instead. Additionally, Taylor was seen giving away $100 bills to stadium employees. To make the event more fun, her dad joined and even reportedly shared Taylor’s birthday cake with other fans.

Then Travis Kelce gave a nod to Taylor Swift’s dad, Scott Swift, for attending in a “swaggy vintage” Chiefs sweater. While it wasn’t a Christmas squirrel sweater, he mentioned, “Mr. Swift [was] in full Chiefs gear.” Continuing, Travis complimented, “It’s kind of looking real nice on him. … He’s rocking it. And he seems to be enjoying himself.” Initially, Travis and Scott met last month in Argentina before they attended one of Taylor’s Eras Tour performances together. Notably, Scott is a longtime Eagles fan but showed his support in style. Then Travis boasted about recruiting his fandom, “I might have persuaded him [to be a Kansas City Chiefs fan] at dinner the night before when I met him.” While it was Scott’s first of Travis’ games to attend, he lay witness to the victorious Chiefs win, 27-17.
