On Patrol: Live Fans Question If Show’s Returning
It is the holiday season and with that being said, some shows tend to take breaks or air reruns. On Patrol: Live does take occasional breaks but they usually give a warning. Their viewers do not appreciate this in any capacity. They have come to depend on the Friday and Saturday night excitement. Despite the fact that they have said Live PD is more exciting than OPL, it is still a weekly guilty pleasure. According to a Reddit thread, the sign-off for the latest episode left viewers wondering when and if the show was even returning. In 2022, the show openly said they were on hiatus for the holidays.
This time there was no mention of that but, at the same time, the show is not on the upcoming schedule. So, what is the deal? A tweet was sent out to answer this question.

This means they will be taking their usual two-week hiatus which they did for Labor Day. So, how does this make the OP Nation feel?

Others sent holiday wishes to the hosts and the police departments while suggesting people they wanted to see more of. There were also a lot of well wishes for safety plus one person asked what they would do for the next two weekends. So, many mixed feelings but essentially, it would have been nice to know at the end of the last show.
How Much Longer?
One Redditor did ask how many episodes into 2024 fans would get of On Patrol: Live. They said this:
- It was renewed for season 2 in Feb 2023 for 90 episodes. That would get them thru Jan 2024. No word on a season 3 which would begin Feb 2024.
Hopefully, that will all be answered when the show comes back on January 5th. Now, everyone has their answers and they can plan accordingly.
