‘Sister Wives’ Inside Kody Brown’s Special Pact With Robyn
Sister Wives fans have seen how Kody treated his wives differently throughout the years. Many have pointed out how he prioritizes Robyn over the other wives, which ultimately sparked their desire to leave. The patriarch even came up with an agreement with his only remaining wife, which was brought up in the latest Tell-All, and it seems Robyn is not willing to break it. Keep reading to learn more about the pact.
Sister Wives: Is Robyn Brown Not Happy?
Robyn has already expressed her struggles with Kody following the departures of Meri, Janelle, and Christine. She even revealed in the Tell-All that her husband has been “self-sabotaging” their romance by picking fights with her over “dumb things.” The 54-year-old man admitted it in his one-on-one interview with Suki and explained that he’s been doing that out of frustration and anger from his divorce.
“A lot of people might go through this. These are my demons and that’s like doing something that destroys myself,” he added. The Sister Wives star also said that he’s embarrassed about his issues. But despite that, it seems Robyn never wants to leave his side.
Robyn Opens Up About The Pact
During the latest sneak peek for the upcoming episode of Tell-All, Robyn addressed the pact that she and Kody made. According to the Sister Wives star, they had an agreement that they would just leave each other if they were no longer happy in their marriage and not hold each other up. However, the fourth wife made it clear that she had no intentions of leaving her husband.
I never thought that I wanted to leave the marriage. No. I just know how much I love Kody, and I know he is a good guy and he’s doing his best.
Robyn Brown said she couldn’t imagine other men being able to handle what Kody has been going through and still be doing just fine. “Considering that he’s still in one piece, I feel like that’s a pretty big deal because I can’t imagine. It’s just a lot. And even, it’s a lot for me, and it’s a different situation for him,” she added.
Sister Wives: Kody Brown Shares The Story Behind The Agreement
Kody also took a deeper dive into the covenant he and Robyn agreed upon. “Robyn and I made an agreement that if we weren’t in love, that we wouldn’t drag each other out,” the Sister Wives star said. He also shared a story about how the other wives got upset after learning about their pact. According to him, they didn’t like his idea that anyone who wants to leave is free to go.
Meri Brown also expressed her frustration over Kody and Robyn’s covenant. She’s been trying to show efforts to fix their marriage and get things back to what they used to be. However, her ex-husband “fell out of love” with her, and she’s aware of how Kody treated her situation differently compared to Robyn.
He’s sitting here telling Robyn, ‘That’s the agreement that you and I made, that if I ever felt like that, then I wouldn’t hold you in this place.’ Their agreement of, you know, their sacred covenant. I’m like, ‘Then why did you not respect me enough as a human being?
