My 600-lb Life alum Lonnie Hambrick appeared in Season 8 with his brother, John. The two were 613 lbs and 687 lbs, respectively, when they sought Dr. Now’s help. They were able to transform themselves during the show, making them one of the most inspirational siblings in the franchise. However, Lonnie made an insane effort on his physical journey after the show. Recently, he shared a clip of himself looking unrecognizable, and many were impressed. My 600-lb Life: Lonnie Hambrick’s Weight Loss Journey
Lonnie’s physical journey was made easy thanks to his support system. He always had his brother by his side, as they both pursued the same goals. They’ve motivated each other and eventually lost enough weight to qualify for bariatric surgery. Lonnie was able to drop 245 pounds by the end of his episode, dropping him to 368 lbs in just 12 months.
He also made sure he’d continue to work on his weight after the show, and it seems that he lived up to his words. The My 600-lb Life alum kept in touch with the fans online, and many of his photos today show that he lost much more weight after his time with Dr. Now.
Lonnie Shows Off Major Weight Loss
Lonnie also took to social media recently to share a clip of himself showing off his stunning weight loss. “Mind and body in perfect harmony. Well that’s at least the goal. Until then we keep working and striving for our very best,” the My 600-lb Life alum captioned.

Lonnie Hambrick has been a regular at the gym with his fiance, Richard Gavadin. He has yet to share his current weight. But his latest clip proves that he’s no longer battling obesity. Some of his IG posts also show that he’s been more conscious about what he eats.
My 600-lb Life: What Is Lonnie Hambrick Up To Today?
Lonnie thrived in life after his successful weight loss journey. He’s presently a professional hairstylist in Texas. Aside from regular gym workouts, he and Richard also love to travel. In July, the My 600-lb Life alum revealed he just got himself a new car. He also added that he’s excited to be finally able to have a car, which is something that he couldn’t fit in back then.
Lonnie Hambrick has yet to share updates about his brother. However, John also achieved the life he wanted after his journey in Season 8. It was revealed that he became a football coach and also used it as an opportunity to keep himself physically active.
