Instead, he sent her home despite telling her in a previous episode that he thought she was “the one” for him.

She chatted with Bachelor In Paradise newlyweds Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast about her experience on the reality show.
Leslie Fhima has questioned the 72-year-old widower’s integrity and detailed the promises he made when they were alone together.
During her lengthy interview for the podcast episode, Fhima also opened up about her two divorces. She was among the few Golden Bachelor divorcees.
Leslie Fhima Isn’t Ashamed Of Her Two Failed Marriages
The Minnesota native was open with Gerry Turner about her divorces but didn’t go too far into details on the show. She shared more with Amabile and Pitt.
But before delving into the nitty-gritty, she showed no shame about her past relationships. “Being divorced is not like the plague. It happens.”

She chalked the end of her first marriage to youth. “With Brad and I, we were just really young,” she explained.
However, her second marriage ended due to infidelity. “With David, there was infidelity in that marriage. I tried to keep my family together as long as I possibly could knowing what was going on. I just couldn’t do it,” Fhima candidly explained.
Is She Close With Her Exes?
Leslie Fhima said on The Golden Bachelor that she’d been single for over twenty years after her second divorce. But is she friendly with her ex-husbands?
The fitness instructor revealed a close relationship with her first ex. “If I needed something in the middle of the night, if I called him, he’d help me.”
She added, “I’m very good friends with his siblings and his cousins.”
As for her second marriage, things don’t seem as friendly. However, she doesn’t talk badly about either of her exes “because I have nothing bad to say.”

Leslie will be very grateful she didn’t end up with this guy. Yes, we all have a past but when you’re in your 70’s and still lying and love bombing and basically lost to the fact you are hurting people you do not deserve a good outcome. I’m not surprised Gerry chooses a docile passive woman who cannot wait to serve him hand foot. She lacks self esteem and needs a man to validate her existence. She’s going to discover some hard truths about getting involved with a narcissist, and a poor one to boot. Yeah, this guy has nothing. He needs her to pay the bills.
