Theresa Nist Sells House She Bought With Late Husband?
The Golden Bachelor has ended and it’s time for Gerry Turner and his bride, Theresa Nist, to start their new lives together. Does this mean Theresa will have sell her house? Keep reading to find out what we know so far.
Theresa Nist moves out?
The Golden Bachelor ended with an exciting engagement. Gerry Turner fell in love with New Jersey native, Theresa Nist. The pair had a wonderful love story on the show and plan to get married on TV in January. According to New Jersey 101.5 the happy couple plan to build a home together in South Carolina. Of course, Theresa lives in New Jersey and Gerry lives in Indiana. This seems to be a compromise when it comes to where to live.
So, what will happen to Theresa’s house? While nothing is confirmed yet, apparently, the house she currently lives in is worth around $570,000. While this isn’t a lot in the grand scheme of of things, it is a good chunk of change to go towards the big move.
What’s her house like?
Of course, Theresa’s house appears to match her personality perfectly. The quaint, ranch style house features grey siding and white shudders. The outside of the house is covered in bushes dotted wtith several pink flowers. Of course, the yard is perfectly manicured with a little white gate and paved path to the front porch.
On the inside, the house has three bedrooms and one-bathroom. It’s a one story, ranch style house.

Wedding details
As mentioned above, Theresa and Gerry plan to have a televised wedding so all of their fans can watch as they tie the knot. While they did just recently become in engaged, they are ready to go to the alter this January. According to the two stars, since they are older, they want to move at a much quicker pace than someone who is younger might. Hence the sudden ceremony.
Apparently, the couple says that the wedding is going to be ‘spectacular.’ Gerry even shares that everything has been in harmony between the two of them. So, planning has been going very well.
“When she’s thinking out loud and I’m thinking out loud, they’re pretty much in harmony. I haven’t seen anything that wouldn’t work. It’s going to be spectacular.”
Theresa also reveals that her daughter has been helping plan quite a bit, so she and Gerry haven’t actually had to do too much, making the planning stage even easier for the happy couple.
“We have daughters who are so involved. My daughter, she’s seen a million weddings and she is incredible. She’s put together the vision board. She’s asking me, ‘Do you like this? Do you like this?’ And I go, ‘Wow, okay, I don’t even have to do this. This is awesome.’ She’s handling it pretty much.”

What a journey Gerry and Theresa have been on. My story is much like there’s and Golden Bachelor touched my heart. I lost my husband on February 4, 2023 after being together for 52 years celebrating our 50th Anniversary in September of 2022.
I don’t think that either of them should sell there houses so quickly. They need to concentrate on there wedding. One step at a time, day by day. The press needs to stop with all the gossip of hashing up with past things. Let them blend their families and have a happily ever after together ❤️
I was 15 when I met my husband and we had 52 wonderful years. It’s a whole new life when this happens.
So sorry for your loss. My cousin lost her husband of 50 years and they married when she was 15. It is very hard for her right now I just wish there was a way to make it easier for her.
There is no easier way Veronica. just be there for the support. There is no time put on the loss of your confident, lover, best friend. I look eveyday at a heart that says” I’m not a widow I’m a wife that’s married to a husband that has wings.”

Theresa, Gerry does not appear to be the great catch everyone first thought. Slow down with the wedding. You have lots of time. He’s just worried that you’ll discover who he really is, and will leave. You need more time to learn about him. He’s a narcissist and those people always put their wants ahead of others. Think about it!
Watch out. He changes his mind too much. Just my opinion!
