Bettie recently took to Instagram to share photos of her newborn son, Erickson Aries Salvatore Elmore. According to the My 600-lb Life alum, her third child was born prematurely and weighed 1 lb 13 Oz. She also added that he has no complications and that his breathing is fine so far.

Bettie later shared another photo of the newborn inside the NICU. “Erickson he is doing good they are just helping him breathe some, but so far he has no major issues like Ollie,” she said. Many of her followers also took to the comments section to send prayers and positive messages.

“Congratulations! Prayers he grows stronger and stronger each day!” one person said.

“I don’t normally comment in this sub but i was born at 1 lb 9 oz back in the 90s, i had a brain bleed and developed cerebral palsy. i see a lot of kids with similar stories now who are fine, but it’s not uncommon either,” one person said.
