‘Bachelor’: Zach Shallcross & Kaity Biggar Hit Pause On Wedding
Bachelor Nation fans shouldn’t expect Zach Shallcross and Kaity Biggar to walk down the aisle any time soon. Here’s why.
Kaity Biggar Joins Zach Shallcross For Golden Bachelor Finale
In August, Zach Shallcross attended a Bachelor Nation event solo. He was in the audience of the Season 20 Bachelorette live finale.
Not having fiance Kaity Biggar by his side fueled speculation that their relationship was in trouble. But he gave his fiance a shout-out, assuring viewers that they were still very much together and in love.
But Bachelor Nation fans are always on high alert for signs of a split. After all, very few Bachelor couples stay together. Fans were again concerned earlier this month when Biggar was spotted without her engagement ring.
Neither Zach Shallcross or Kaity Biggar addressed why she doesn’t always wear her ring. However, they gave bachelornation.com a huge update on where their relationship stands now.
They happily live together in Austin, Texas. They’ve also left reality TV behind to go back to their “normal” lives. This includes both working full-time jobs.
As TV Shows Ace previously reported, Kaity Biggar returned to her nursing job. Zach Shallcross told the blog that he just started a new full-time job earlier this year at a mental health platform startup.
Even with full-time jobs, the two still took time to celebrate their one-year anniversary. Biggar shared that they went to dinner to celebrate and gave each other gifts.
She gave Zach Shallcross a “Love Book” of reasons she loves him. In return, he gifted her a photo of their Bachelor engagement.
The couple got engaged on a beach in Thailand during the Season 27 finale. But don’t expect to hear wedding bells any time soon.
Bachelor Couples Hits Pause On Wedding
Zach Shallcross and Kaity Biggar revealed their future plans for the next five years and it doesn’t involve a wedding any time soon.
The couple revealed that they are currently renting, but hope to save up to buy a home in the next few years. They plan to stay in the Austin area, calling it “so fun.”
“Getting a house, starting our future, and still building our relationship are our priorities,” Shallcross said about their five-year plan.
That doesn’t mean the wedding is off, though. “It will be later down the road. We’re not rushed. When the time is right, the time is right,” he added about a wedding.
