Sofia Vergara Seeks Protection From ‘Aggressive’ Stalker

According to The Sun, court documents confirm NBC’s America’s Got Talent judge Sofia Vergara acquired a restraining order against her stalker. In the paperwork, she names Gregory Brown as her stalker demonstrating “aggressive and harassing conduct” toward her. The paperwork also states that the situation involving Gregory has caused Sofia to suffer from anxiety, fear, and distress.

Gregory Brown, 34, reportedly believes he is in a “romantic and familial relationship” with the actress as well as her son, Manolo. Back in July, he reportedly hiked his way through the hills to her home. After being confronted he shouted that the actress was his to everyone. Court documents also have him labeled as a “mentally unstable stalker” and a man who has had a very long fixation on the actress.

After hearing the details of this scary situation, NBC’s America’s Got Talent judge Sofia Vergara was granted a restraining order. Per a judge’s order, he has been ordered to remain at least 100 feet away from the actress at all times.

“He delusionally believes he personally knows her, and has a romantic and familial relationship with her and her son, which he does not.”

The court documents also state that the stalker has claimed the actress “belongs” to him. Furthermore, the documents state this stalker situation poses a “credible threat of violence to her [Sofia].”

Continuing To Work Through The Fear

Despite the scary situation this stalker has put her in, NBC’s America’s Got Talent judge Sofia Vergara isn’t letting it stop her from working. In fact, just yesterday she took to Instagram to promote her new Netflix limited series called Griselda. The series drops into the streaming service toward the end of next month.

Other recent posts on her Instagram reveal she is currently “on set” working in London right now on her latest project.
