Taylor Swift Confirms Details About Relationship With Travis Kelce

While there’s an obvious buzz about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce dating, the singer has kept quiet on the matter. Until now, as she interviewed for the esteemed Time 2023 Person of the Year, Taylor finally opened up about her relationship with the Chiefs’ player.

Recently, Travis Kelce shared his story of meeting Taylor Swift while he was interviewing with GQ for Man of the Year. This power couple is cleaning up with their prestigious recognitions from GQ and Time Magazines. Notably, Taylor received the Time 2023 Person of the Year achievement and was also honored with the designation in 2017. Surprisingly, this makes her the first woman to appear on the cover twice since the franchise began in 1927.

Initially, Taylor Swift was at the Chiefs’ game on September 24. At that point, all the Swifties showed their intrigue. As they watched for “Taylor and Travis” sightings, there was a big uptick in sports viewing. Since Taylor attended multiple games to support Travis, the Internet caught fire with the contagious idea of the two being a couple. Notably, Travis was quicker to discuss his relationship with Taylor. To demonstrate, he spoke openly on his podcast New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce about the romance.

Taylor Swift Admits Her Connection With Travis Kelce

On December 6, Taylor Swift opened up in the Time 2023 Person of the Year interview about the long-awaited status of her and Travis Kelce. As Taylor speaks about Travis she says it “all started when Travis very adorably put me on blast on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell.” Pointing out their need for privacy, she says, “We started hanging out right after that. So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other.”

Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce Are Showing Up

Admittedly, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were a couple before the public suspicions from the first Cheifs’ game came out. She says, “We were a couple.” To clarify, Taylor continues, “I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date.” Taylor confesses, “When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care.”

Given that, Taylor Swift says alternately, “The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.” At the games, she’s unsure how people know her location, but she decides to focus on why she is there. She said, “I’m just there to support Travis.” Adding, “I have no awareness of if I’m being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads and Chads.” Admittedly, she has developed a new appreciation for the game, “Football is awesome, it turns out.” Provided that, she says, “I’ve been missing out my whole life.”
