Faith Martin Weighs In On Gerry & Theresa’s Engagement

How Is Faith Martin Doing Now?
After weeks of receiving a rose from Gerry Turner, Golden Bachelor contestant Faith Martin was sure she was in love. She was so sure, she told him with cameras rolling. He returned the affirmation.
However, after having hometown dates with his final three – Martin, Theresa Nist, and Leslie Fhima – Turner had to send someone home. To the shock of viewers, it was Gerry Turner’s decision to keep Theresa Nist close and to send Faith Martin home.
Since there is a months-long break between filming and when it airs on TV, the radio host has had time to process the elimination.
She recently did an interview with bachelornation.com about life after the Golden Bachelor.
Martin revealed that “everyone” wants to set her up on a date after her heartbreak at Gerry Turner’s hands. In fact, she joined a dating site called Date My Age, but online dating was “awful and too hard.”
Despite striking out with Gerry Turner and online dating, Faith Martin isn’t giving up on the idea of love. She also gave the Bachelor show concept her full support.
“I would recommend anyone go on a Bachelor Nation show if they get the opportunity to. Life is about the unexpected and taking risks to meet people you would’ve never met. I think that’s what life is all about,” she told the blog.
Reflecting on her time on the show, she added, “I have no regrets. I do really trust the process because I’ve seen it, so I believe in it.”
Gerry Turner Was A ‘Stone Cold Stranger’ During Golden Bachelor Elimination
However, her elimination did show her a new side of Gerry Turner. She told the outlet that he was different on the day of the rose ceremony. That’s almost exactly what Leslie Fhima said about the day she was sent home.

“When I looked at him that day, I didn’t see the Gerry that I knew and loved, I saw this stone cold stranger. That’s what hurt me so much,” she said of the moment.
Martin also shared that she went into the Women Tell All special wanting “answers” but realized what she really wanted was the chance to say goodbye and wish him well on his journey.
Faith Martin Weighs In On Gerry & Theresa’s Engagement
Many viewers were surprised when Turner chose Theresa Nist over Leslie Fhima, including Fhima herself. However, Faith Martin isn’t that surprised by any of the choices he made during his journey.
