Theresa Nist Gets Engaged In Michelle Young’s Gown?
Great minds think alike? The Golden Bachelor has come to an end with Theresa Nist walking away an engaged woman. However, one thing caught viewers’ eyes. Is she wearing Michelle Young’s dress? Keep reading to find out more about the matching moment.
Theresa Nist wears Michelle’s gown?
All good things must come to an end and that’s exactly what happened with The Golden Bachelor. After weeks of searching for love with the perfect woman, Gerry Turner ended up engaged to Theresa Nist. Not only that, but the couple actually plan to keep their engagement short and sweet. Apparently, they will be getting married in January. And, it will be a televised event, so fans can watch as their favorite golden couple exchange their vows.
Despite the fast-paced couple moving right along, fans are still tied up in the engagement shared between the two. One thing seems to be standing out the most – Theresa’s dress. It looks almost identical to Michelle Young’s dress that she wore during her season of The Bachelorette. Michelle got engaged to Nate during her season finale, however, the couple has since split.
Regardless, it seems that Theresa may have taken a page from her book and worn an identical dress. The gown in question is a floor-length sparkly gown. It features a long slit that highlights the ladies’ legs and a belt to show off their tiny middles. The top of the dress has a plunging V in the same, sparkly material. The only difference between the two? The color. While Theresa wore a silver version of the dress, Michelle’s was white.
Made for Michelle
According to US Weekly, the dress was originally designed for Michelle by designer, Randi Rahm. Randi revealed in a TikTok just how special the dress was for Michelle at the time.
“This special dress that I designed for Michelle has her essence to it,” the designer says. “I think that’s what I love the most about it. It’s elegant, it’s sleek, but has a beautiful shine to it like she does.”
Randi has even spoken out about the glittery belt that both Michelle and now Theresa have been seen wearing. However, by the sounds of it, this too was designed for Michelle.
“I love the idea of the detail on the belt using this diamond strand just [adds] a little pop on this very simple, sleek design. … This dress is all about the sleekness and the simplicity,” they say.
So, why was the dress worn twice? As of right now, no one has spoken out about the twinning moment so there is really no telling if this was a miscommunication or if it happened on purpose. Only time will tell if anyone ends up mentioning anything.
